Chaillot Experience
September 2024, Théâtre National de Chaillot, Paris

BODY LIVE LIVE MUSIC transformed one of Paris’ most iconic cultural institutions into an open field for experimentation across music and dance. The building became both stage and studio, where international artists, locally engaged creators, and audiences were invited into a shared space of practice and encounter.
At the core of the project was an expanded understanding of performance as a continuum between sound, movement, and perception. The sound of bodies in motion, the presence of performing musicians, mobile and musical objects, and imagery generated through music formed the basis of a fluid, interdisciplinary environment shaped in real time.
Rather than fixed roles, the project proposed shifting positions: to listen, to move, to observe, to participate, to document. Music and dance operated together on a shared floor, opening a space where each could inform and transform the other, and where audiences were invited to circulate freely between states of making and witnessing.
